What exactly is included in My Tennis Plan?

My Tennis Plan includes:
Weekly tennis fitness and footwork routines you can customize to fit your schedule, plus a library of tennis-specific workouts (strength, footwork, endurance, mobility, and recovery). You’ll also get rotating monthly focus themes and mini challenges to keep you progressing with purpose.

You’ll have access to our private Skool community for accountability, weekly check in support, and extra training courses I unlock over time (including footwork/positioning and mindset “My Mental Boost” lessons).

On top of that, you get access to the My Fitness Plan AI coach, which helps you choose the best workout for today, adjust your week around matches, and make smart modifications so you’re actually seeing results month after month.

Is it beginner friendly?

My Tennis Plan consists of follow along workouts that build with you. It is a variety of high intensity interval training (HIIT), strength, footwork, endurance and rest days with mobility, stretching and injury prevention. With this combination plan you will hit every area needed to grow in your tennis game throughout the week. It is beginner friendly and can be built upon based on your strength and fitness level.

This is also beginner friendly in tennis level, no matter where you are at you will benefit from the weekly drills!

How will I access my workouts?

You will be given access to our community and all your materials in one place. We are hosted on the Skool platform which has an app for easiest access.

What are the workouts like & what equipment will I need?

The program is built for at home training. The more you have available the more you can benefit and grow however you can modify moves if you do not have certain equipment. Workouts are often a combination of bodyweight exercises, footwork drills, weights and jump roping. They can be anywhere from 5 minutes to 45 minutes. That being said, here is a list of equipment that would be beneficial for the program but not necessary as you can always modify:

- A Jump Rope or Rotational Trainers (for roping indoors or beginners)

- A Set of Light, Medium and Heavy weights (I personally have 5-20 lbs)

-A mat or soft ground

-Benches, chairs or things for elevation and support

-Resistance Bands that wrap around knees, ankles...

-Yoga Blocks for yoga poses

Is this for players who don't compete?

Yes! This plan is for any adult tennis player who wants to feel faster, stronger, and more confident on the court — regardless of whether you play casually or in tournaments.

Hi, I’m Marisa Johnson — a 5.0 competitor, professional tennis and fitness coach, and founder of Rip It Tennis.

For the last 10+ years, I’ve helped passionate adult players (many in their 40s, 50s, 60s and beyond) move better, hit stronger, and feel more confident on court — even when they don’t have time to train like the pros.

I know what it’s like to feel like you’re “doing everything right” — hitting, drilling, maybe lifting here and there — but still feeling like your game and your body are stuck in the same place.

That’s why I created My Fitness Plan.
Because you shouldn’t have to guess what to do every week, or piece together random workouts hoping it somehow translates to your tennis.

After walking through my son’s third open heart surgery, my belief that movement is a gift and structure is a lifeline became even stronger. I want you to have a simple way to honor your body and your game, no matter what life is throwing at you.
